Phil Stroup, PhD
Phil launched the special education program at the Boulder Valley TEC Center. He established business-education partnerships and customized the curriculum to ensure student success. U.S. Department of Education awarded him a one million dollar grant for nationwide implementation of the program, called the Business Education Transition Alliance (BETA). Phil then moved to Bangkok where he worked with the International School of Bangkok as its Director of Marketing. He became active with the American Chamber of Commerce and organized strategic fundraising events for the school. After nine years in Thailand, he moved to Doha, Qatar, as the Director of Advancement. He oversaw external relationships and strategic fundraising, developing relationships with the business community that resulted in the building of STEM Labs, robotics programs, and other improvements for the school.
